Care built on trust, the sort you'd want for your own family.
I’m Cara, an independent private carer based in Banbury, with over 13 years of experience supporting people in their own homes.
I provide compassionate, person-centred care that helps people stay safe, well and independent in the home they love. For me, care is about more than daily support, it’s about dignity, consistency, trust, and knowing that a familiar face can make a real difference.
I work directly with clients and their families as an independent personal assistant, not as a care agency. I’m not CQC-registered, which means I provide private support personally, with the same person turning up each visit and getting to know you, your routines and your household well.
I hold the Care Certificate and have completed additional training in medication administration, catheter care, compression stockings, food hygiene and manual handling. I am also experienced in supporting people living with dementia and Alzheimer’s.
I am fully insured, DBS checked, and references are available upon request. I also work alongside other trusted private carers to help with holiday cover, supporting continuity and peace of mind for clients and their families.
Reliable, patient and professional, I’m passionate about building positive relationships and providing safe, respectful and supportive care.
How I work
Kind & patient
Every visit is unhurried. Time to listen, to notice, to make a proper cup of tea.
Reliable
Turning up when I said I would matters, for the client and for the family.
Respectful
Care is done with you, not to you. Dignity comes first, always.
Person-centred
No two clients want the same thing. The care fits the person, not the other way around.
